Mexico Pre Travel Tips
Mexico is an exciting and fun filled destination that will rival any in the world. Before you jump on the plane we have some Mexico Pre Travel Tips so you can truly relax.
As with any country there are some do's and dont's that you may not be aware of and for that reason we have some snippets of information.
Mexico retains a warm and humid climate throughout the year, so you can wear light cotton clothing, shirts, shorts, bathing suits, flip-flops, and footwear a little more comfortable to walk when making a visit of the archaeological ruins or a small foray into the jungle and warm jacket or coat if visiting high altitude areas.
Do not forget sunglasses, as well as some more elegant clothing for evening dining.
- People who suffer from any type of heart issue should consult their doctor before travelling to certain parts of Mexico, as it can reach over 2,300 meters above sea level.
- Never underestimate the power of tequila. Or the mezcal. These drinks are not just any drink. This is not water, wine or beer: these drinks deserve respect, yes, respect. You do not want to finish the next day regretting decisions made last night, one of the Mexico pre travel tips that should be remembered.
- Do not drink tap water, although many people are accustomed to it in their home country, to take water directly from the tap, we do not recommend that you do it in Mexico, unless there is a sign saying that it is completely safe. It is better to buy bottled water or a beer!
- Prepare your kit, everything you could need, analgesics, some medical suplies for stomach problems like heartburn and diarrhea, and of course a good mosquito repellent.
